Terms of service
Last updated · July 14, 2026
Dear Theo is in early access by invitation. Today these terms cover one thing — joining the waitlist. Fuller terms will apply when accounts and paid plans open, and we'll publish them before that happens.
Short version: joining the waitlist tells us you're interested and lets us email you when access opens. It doesn't cost anything, and it doesn't guarantee a spot.
Early access, by invitation
Dear Theo is being opened gradually. Joining the waitlist registers your interest; it does not guarantee access, a place in any particular group, or a timeline. We may change how and when we open access, or the plans we offer, as we go.
The waitlist
By joining, you give us your email address so we can contact you about early access. You're responsible for using an address you're allowed to use. You can ask to be removed at any time using the contact below.
No paid plans yet
There is no billing today, and joining the waitlist is not a purchase, a subscription, or a free-trial commitment. Any pricing shown on the site is a proposal to help you plan, and it may change before billing launches.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the site: don't submit someone else's details without permission, don't try to overwhelm or probe the signup form, and don't use it in a way that breaks the law.
Provided as is
During early access, the site and the waitlist are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those the law requires. The features described across the site are in active development and may change or ship on their own timeline.
When accounts open
When early access begins, additional terms will apply to using the product. In short: you'll keep ownership of what you upload and create; you'll be responsible for having the rights to your inputs and for reviewing AI-generated output before you rely on it; and when you connect your own model API keys, that provider's charges and terms apply, not ours. We'll publish the full terms before then.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above.
Governing basics
These terms are governed by the applicable law of our place of business, and nothing in them limits rights that can't be limited by law. We've kept them deliberately simple for the early-access stage.
